Dr Tom Lockhart is a senior lecturer in the Department of Psychology, with experience of lecturing and course leadership in both online and on-campus university programmes.
His research tests and applies the principles of a neurological theory of personality called Reinforcement Sensitivity Theory, as a way of better understanding anxiety. These tests typically involve comparative neurological methods, using the electroencephalogram (EEG).
