I'm a Senior Lecturer in Talent Management Studies at the Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Portsmouth, a Fellow of the British Higher Education Academy and a member of the steering committee at the British Academy of Management.
I have employment experience in both UK and international academic institutions, as well as in the banking industry and in multinational companies such as Vodafone.
My current research interests include the areas of talent management (in the public-sector in particular), cross-cultural management, governance reform, hotel management, and human resource management (HRM).
I'm very keen on cross-disciplinary research using predominantly quantitative research methods. My global research experience extends to Bangladesh, China, Cyprus, Ghana, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Greece, the UK and Turkey.
