I'm currently the manager of the prestigious research fellowship, NUAcT at Newcastle University, focused on building a diverse multidisciplinary network that fosters creativity and collaboration, and that helps Newcastle University to address distinctive future-facing research missions.

I'm also an enterprise and innovation advisor as part of Newcastle’s award-winning Careers Service, actively promoting and embedding enterprise education, focusing on masters level and postgraduate / early career researchers across all subject areas.

I continue to run a successful coaching and mentoring venture, specialising in start-up, growth and third sector businesses, one of the several award winning ventures I have been proud to create.

I specialise in personal and professional development including innovation and entrepreneurship, problem solving, resilience, leadership and impact.

I'm very focused on helping each individual to consider and demonstrate not just what they are good at but what they are good for, and how they might contribute to a buoyant and diverse society.

Attendees of my training have reported notable success including securing significant, external funding, international career opportunities and launching successful spinout companies, all aligned with their own personal values and ambitions.
